TUESDAY 9/13

1. Warm-up: In a paragraph after watching the short clip from Hidden Colors 4, explain why we should stop using the curse word MF?  Provide evidence to support your claim.

2. 6 Week Benchmark: Plugin answers into I-Respond and record score in data section of notebook. Class average was a 44% and the grade will count as a participation grade this time around.  Next benchmark counts as a quiz grade and the Mock SLO will count as a unit test grade in November.

1. Warm-up: Read the article about rape culture in America. Article Link. Write a paragraph comparing the problems women in America face versus the women in Egypt with arranged marriages. What are any similarities?
2. Finish Another Evening at the Club by Egyptian author Alifa Rifaat on pages 62-68
